BUMPER YEAR FOR BRIGHTON HOTELS
Brighton & Hove hoteliers have had a bumper year

Demand for hotels in Brighton has increased by as much as 10% compared to a year ago.  Five consecutive months outperformed last year according to figures by accountants PKF.

Nick Head, of Visit Sussex and owner of the Ambassador Hotel in Brighton, said that hoteliers were pleased with the year’s performance.  He said, ‘This weekend you won’t find a hotel in this square with an available room because of White Night and conferences in the city.’

Adam Bates, the head of Visit Brighton, said new attractions such as the Brighton Wheel as well as expanding events such as the Brighton Festival, the Brighton Marathon and the Brighton Comedy Festival were all helping to attract visitors the whole year through.
