CLIMATE CONNECTIONS EXHIBITION

Don’t miss the Climate Connections Exhibition on Brighton seafront.

Climate Connections is a two year project that tells the stories of people living in Brighton & Hove and across the world - people who are affected by the changing climate and are doing something about it.  It is about looking behind the statistics and science to real people and shows how different communities are both affected by and dealing with the effects of climate change such as severe weather.

This large exhibition highlights the way our lives are globally interconnected and united by efforts and resilience against climate change. It features pictures and stories from people all over the world and the ways they are adapting to climate change and it looks at how individuals and communities from different parts of the world are responding to the challenge of climate change.  Brighton & Hove's participants are showing what individuals are doing practically to reduce carbon emissions and help tackle climate change.  They include an eco-house from Hove, an environment group from Hanover and Patcham High School.

Brighton & Hove Council is committed to creating stronger communities and promoting sustainability across the city.  The Council is leading by example by cutting its own carbon emissions and working with others to help them cut theirs.

The exhibition is at the Mosaic area next to the Birdcage Bandstand during the whole of August - go along and picki up lots of information about what is going on in the city of Brighton & Hove.
