The event will incorporate the Seniors Congress and the Really Easy Congress for less experienced players.  The first weekend features the Swiss Pairs championship for the Harold Poster Cup. Mid-week there will be wide variety of competitions, including a 'Play With The Experts' pairs and the Mixed Pivot Championships.  The second week features the Four Stars Swiss Teams championship. 

The Seniors Congress
Now an official European Bridge League competition, the venue for this year’s EBU Summer Meeting Seniors Congress is the 100-year-old Metropole, Brighton's premier four-star deluxe hotel.

The Really Easy Congress
This event is an ideal way for all bridge students to sample the atmosphere of the Brighton Summer Meeting.  Those who have been learning through the Bridge for All scheme or with other teaching programmes will be most welcome.

The Next Step
Players with more experience and playing in local club but have not tried a county or EBU congress event, should find the Next Step more to their taste. The emphasis is on having fun in a relaxed environment. 

Play With The Experts Pairs
Don’t worry, this is NOT about being drawn to play bridge with an expert - nothing so scary - this is a FUN evening's bridge, played with your own partner!  The hands will be taken from a big teams Championship, perhaps a World or European event, where some of the best players in the world will have participated.
