Brighton Kite Festival, a free event not to be missed, brings interesting shapes, sizes and colour to Stanmer Park that would normally not be seen there. It is one of the longest, if not the longest, running kite festivals in the UK and is fast approaching its 31st consecutive event on the 10th and 11th July 2010 in Stanmer Park Brighton BN1 9QA.Some truly amazing shows have been planned for this year from world class flyers of all forms of kites from beautifully made small single kites through to some of the best team displays you will ever see! Some of the planned arena displays include a Martin Lester Spirit kite fly, an Octopus fly of all shapes and sizes, kite fighting - both Indian and rokkaku, kites made in the children's workshop, team and single flying from some of the world's best sport kite flyers. |
